Masters - Video game work

Hey guys, Here I share with you some of the concepts I made for a game almost 2 years ago, the project took another direction artistically, so here I share with you some of the first character explorations.

Concepts for the hood, I didn't want to leave her with a traditional/regular hoodie, so I play with some shapes to improve her silhouette

Initial explorations in the right, after some thoughts we decided she would looke more badass hovering/floating around the game

Mask iteration, the idea of covering her face was pretty obvious for us at the beginning, she's not gonna show any emotion so that kinda took away the human aspect on her as portrait her more as emotionless assassin

Material reference, here the direction was obious for us, she should look shinny and very well dressed as she fight!

Portal exploration, I started from something pretty simple and straight forward and pushed to something very stylized, but it looked kinda alien-ish and reminded me the Protoss from Starcraft, so we we step back a little

VFX test, making some test on how the portal behind her would look for the guys on VFX, I tried to keep her design very clear and not letting the portal take the main part in the whole design
